The transfer of credits from this type of program also requires an evaluation by our foreign credit reporting service, IERF, which cannot be concluded in advance. After completing the program, students should create a discounted account with www.ierf.org/usc and make original and authentic transcripts available to IERF for verification. IERF will then make credit recommendations directly to USC. There is an additional fee for the detailed report, so we strongly recommend that you research the program you wish to participate in to determine if it is a program that USC has already found is not transferred (as described here). USC does not require a minimum number of transfer units, but students with less than 30 transferable semester units are evaluated based on their high school record and SAT/ACT results. SMC is the best transfer from California Community College to USC! Learn more about adimission requirements.
